Gene Yao - Microstaq China Chairman

Mr. Yao brings 35+ years of experience to Microstaq China, both as an entreprenuer and as operator. Mr. Yao is the founder of Fibernet, and previously worked as an executive at both Comba Telecommunications and Giant Communications. In addition, Mr. Yao previously worked as a General Manager at Wang Labs. He is a graduate of Tsinghua University.

Mark Luckevich - CTO

Mr. Luckevich brings to Microstaq over 20 years of control system design and development experience in hydraulic and pneumatic flow control. As Chief Engineer over chassis control systems at TRW Automotive, he was involved in the design and development of ABS, Traction Control and Vehicle Stability Control systems for the global market. He was also instrumental in new product R&D and developed controls for advanced products including by-wire systems, active damping and roll control. As an Engineering Manager at Allied-Signal Aerospace, Mark was responsible for the design and development of cabin pressure control systems along with other flight critical controls. Mark holds 13 patents. Mark earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University Of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.

Michael Mottice - VP Sales

Mr. Mottice is responsible for leading sales for Microstaq. He has over 17 years of experience as a high-performance sales leader building new markets, spurring revenue growth, and improving competitive market positioning. Previously, he served as National Sales Manager, North America in Honeywell International’s ACS division, where he developed a global presence with major oil & gas companies including British Petroleum, Shell, Chevron,  and ExxonMobil. Prior to Honeywell, Michael held senior management positions for several industrial product manufacturers focused on new product development and business transformation. He holds a BA from the University of Cincinnati, and advanced leadership education through Harvard Business School Executive Education Program.

Arthur Wang - Microstaq China VP Operations

Mr. Wang has 20+ years experiences in production, marketing and sales activities for component and networking devices. Prior to working at Microstaq, Arthur worked at Quanmax in IPC. Mr. Wang has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at Cheng Kung University.

Nelson Fuller - VP Research

Prior to joining Microstaq, Mr. Fuller was Chief Engineer for Research and Development at TRW Automotive. He brings 30+ years of hands-on experience in the design and development of new products including automotive fluidic braking systems. His experience includes the invention of, design, and development of automotive fluidic systems as well as hardware configuration for these systems. Nelson earned his Bachelor of Science in Physics from Oakland University. Mr. Fuller holds 22 patents and is an original inventor of the Microstaq valve technology.

Yu-Ju Sher - Controller

Mrs. Sher has more than 20 years experience in finance and accounting management in various industries.  Before joining Microstaq in January 2008, Mrs. Sher spent 7 years with Sigmatel, Inc., a publicly traded semiconductor manufacturer as Controller of Planning and Corporate Controller.  Prior to Sigmatel, she was with Sulzer Carbomedics, a mechanical heart valve manufacturer holding positions of Director of Planning, Director of Accounting, and Manager of Accounting.  Mrs. Sher holds a BBA degree from National Taiwan University in Taiwan and a Master of Professional Accounting degree from University of Texas, Austin. She is a CPA in the state of Texas.

Parthiban Arunasalam - Director of Engineering

Parthi brings to Microstaq over 10 years of experience in MEMS design, fabrication and packaging technologies. He developed all key process IPs related to Microstaq’s MEMS devices.  He is the author of more than 24 published technical papers in engineering journals and conferences. He has also presented his work in technical conferences both nationally and internationally. Parthi received the B. Eng. and the M. Sc. degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Science Malaysia, the M.S.M.E degree with an emphasis in electronics packaging from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and is pursuing the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
