Silicon Hydraulic Valve

The Silicon Hydraulic Valve (SHV) is a 2 stage valve consisting of an output stage that is a closed center, 3-port sliding silicon spool and a VentilumTM pilot stage  that is an electronically actuated 3-port proportional sliding plate silicon valve.  The VentilumTM pilot provides a command pressure which is proportional to the electronic command signal to the spool. Spool position is determined by the pressure balance between the pilot stage and the control pressure.
